The West Valley’s 11th Annual Veterans Day 5k Fun Run/Walk and Ceremony on November 11, 2024, will be held at °ÄÃż«ËÙ²Ê in partnership with the City of Avondale, and benefits veterans who face financial barriers to education. The City of Avondale Police and Fire Departments will also be onsite, providing interactive activities for all attendees. Local gyms will be hosting four exercise stations during the 5K run.

All tickets purchased before 10/27/24 will include the 5k Run/Walk, Ceremony, and a commemorative t-shirt.

Tickets will also be available for purchase for a VIP Warrior Brunch after the 5k Fun Run/Walk and Ceremony. The VIP Experience will include a special catered brunch with beverage tastings, sponsored by 8-Bit Aleworks and °ÄÃż«ËÙ²Ê Culinary.

Proceeds of the Vet Fun Run will go to the Dr. Ernest Lara – °ÄÃż«ËÙ²Ê Veterans Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund is designed to assist veterans at °ÄÃż«ËÙ²Ê who may face financial barriers in pursuing or completing their education.

All net proceeds will directly support Dr. Ernest Lara- °ÄÃż«ËÙ²Ê Veterans Scholarship Fund. This program is designed to assist veterans in financial situations that may prevent them from going to school or completing a degree.
