澳门极速彩 Students & Employees Offered Multimedia Training During New Workshop Series
澳门极速彩鈥檚 (澳门极速彩) Multimedia Technologies Institute isn鈥檛 just big on learning in and out of the classroom, it鈥檚 also big on learning for the classroom (and for fun). The Institute is holding MultiMedia Experience Workshops twice a week 鈥 on Mondays and Fridays 鈥 for students and employees alike!
The workshops are perfect for students who want to supplement their class activities by producing high-level media projects that 鈥渨ow their classmates and teachers,鈥 Professor Jim Heinrich, Director of the Multimedia Technologies Institute, said adding that they will also empower employees with media production skills to enhance learning in the courses they teach or other campus purposes.
The workshops will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays and 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays in Arroyo Hall (ARO191 next to the MakerSpace). Workshop topics range from Podcasting, Screenwriting, and Large Format Portraiture to Vlogging, Using a Gimbal, and Videoing Class Projects. The Institute is even offering a Photographing Your Pet, Photographing Strange Creatures, and a two-part Cosplay-ish Face Makeup workshop, all in October.
鈥淸Students, faculty, and staff] have DSLRs, video cameras and studio accessories, lots of lighting/studio/audio equipment, a podcast studio, camera gimbals for action filming, drones, even Wacom tablets at [their] fingertips,鈥 Professor Heinrich said.
The workshops will be run by Professor Heinrich as well as some Maricopa Community Colleges District and industry professionals. Trained students will assist with several of the workshops.
鈥淪eeing fellow students being treated as experts helps attending students see that they, too, can achieve a level of expertise,鈥 Professor Heinrich said. 鈥淚 have had students teach and present in my courses and the MTI Club for years. The ones I've trained could easily take my job. They are the most deep-diving researchers and purposeful presenters and challenging/supportive teachers any student can learn from.鈥
No prior experience is needed before taking a workshop but some workshops are offered in a two- or three-part series so attendees will need to take the first one before the second and so on.
